Getting back

It’s been two weeks now since I got sick with a rather aggressive chest infection. I’m getting better every day, though it is a process that will take some time. My breathing has improved from the state that I called a “100-year-old life-long smoker” to somewhat half the age, but I’m still struggling with any physical activity and jewellery making unfortunately is quite physical. Or it is in my version of the job. So I’ve been mainly tackling all the admin that piled up and I’m trying to get at least some photos edited and “out there”.

The last thing I made before I got “the plague” was this little rune. It is a small project that I’ve decided to dive into which follows the fantastic idea born within @heathen_women_united to declare this year the Year of Unn and follow each month with healing rituals and learnings that celebrate the end of the octagonal cycle. You can read more about the project on their profile and I will probably talk a little bit more about it later. The current idea is to create a few designs that mark this year and bare the symbol of Unn that brings healing into our world.

If you have known me for a while, you are aware that I’m very much interested in jewellery and its meanings that go beyond the purely decorative function. This is another way to explore this aspect.

I hope you are all well and healthy and see you tomorrow!

P.S.: The new collection is going to launch in mid-February to give me time to finish as much as possible.

P.S.S.: The pendant is available in the shop here
